The Enterprise Europe Network is the world's largest network of information and advisory centres dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions.
Launched by thr European Commision in early 2008, the global network brings together around 100 regional consortia across approximately 55 countries. More than 500 regional business support organisations, chambers of commerce and industry and technology agencies, involving some 2500 employees, work closely together in this network.
The Network provides practical and largely free support at local level to help businesses develop and organise commercial, technological and project partnerships across Europe and beyond.
EEN in Thuringia
The Enterprise Europe Network Thuringia provides information and advice on innovation-oriented developments, initiatives and programmes of the European Union and helps you in your search for business and technology partners. It is your local guide through the extensive information from Brussels.
European experts in the two participating supporting organisations, the Erfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Thuringian Foundation for Technology, Innovation and Research (STIFT), are familiar with the local business environment and are closely networked with authorities from all over Europe. Together, they offer integrated European services for your company as part of the Enterprise Europe Network and are available to you directly as contacts!

The particular strength of the Enterprise Europe Network lies in its more than 600 member organisations in almost 70 countries. They are integrated into local business development structures and at the same time networked worldwide. This means that colleagues can access network partners all over the world and arrange targeted international contacts.
